1. Product Overview
The mobile storage tank is a movable stainless steel storage vessel equipped with heavy-duty casters, forklift pockets or a trailer chassis, integrating storage, transfer, temporary holding, metering and CIP cleaning in one unit. It consists of a tank body (shell and heads), a mobile chassis (casters/legs), nozzles, quick-opening manhole, level gauge and accessories, roll-formed and welded from high-quality 304/316L stainless steel plate with electropolished interior, combining excellent corrosion resistance with hygienic performance.
Compared with fixed tanks, the core value of a mobile tank is "move on demand": transfer between process steps, sharing across workshops, on-site temporary storage and flexible batch changeover — greatly reducing piping investment and duplication. Widely applicable to: pharmaceutical intermediate and API transfer, fine chemical batching, food & beverage and dairy handling, bioreactor media turnover, water treatment chemical dosing, etc.
Equipment features: fully mobile (casters with brakes), forklift/pallet-truck compatible, electropolished interior compliant with GMP/FDA, optional jacketed heating/cooling and insulation, optional agitator and CIP cleaning, compact footprint.
2. Working Principle
The mobile tank is a static-storage and mobile-transfer unit: during storage it is fixed at the station by legs or caster brakes; liquid is fed through the inlet nozzle and discharged by gravity or external pumping; a breather valve/dust breather on top maintains pressure balance; for temperature control, steam, thermal oil or cooling water circulates through the jacket; the bottom drain and discharge valve allow complete emptying and cleaning; tanks with a CIP spray ball achieve الفوري cleaning without opening the manhole.
