1. Product Overview
The metering pump is a positive displacement pump capable of accurately adjusting flow rate for quantitative liquid transfer. It consists of a pump head, plunger/diaphragm, drive mechanism, flow adjustment mechanism, and motor.
Widely applicable to: Chemical dosing, water treatment chemical addition, boiler chemical feed, petroleum injection, food ingredient batching, lab quantitative addition, etc.
Equipment features: High metering accuracy (±1%), convenient flow adjustment, multiple pumps can be paralleled for proportional dosing, remote automatic control capable.
2. Working Principle
The motor drives the eccentric cam to rotate via a reduction mechanism, converting it into the reciprocating motion of the plunger/diaphragm; During the forward stroke, chamber volume decreases, discharge valve opens; During the backward stroke, volume increases forming negative pressure, suction valve opens; By adjusting the stroke length or motor speed (VFD), the discharge volume per stroke is precisely controlled.
