1. Product Overview
The gear pump is a positive displacement pump that transfers liquid through volume changes between the pump body and meshing gears. It consists of a pump body, driving gear, driven gear, relief valve, bearings, and seals.
Widely applicable to: Lubricating oil, heavy oil, fuel oil, resin, glue, high-viscosity liquid transfer, etc.
Equipment features: Compact structure, good self-priming, wide viscosity range, reversible, usually equipped with a built-in relief valve.
2. Working Principle
The driving gear rotates via the motor, driving the driven gear to mesh; the side where gears disengage forms a local vacuum, drawing in liquid; the side where gears mesh squeezes the liquid between teeth out; continuous meshing achieves continuous liquid transfer.
