1. Product Overview
The labeling machine is an automated packaging equipment specifically designed for precisely applying labels (self-adhesive, cold glue, hot melt, sleeve labels, etc.) onto container surfaces (bottles, cans, boxes, flat bottles, etc.). It consists of a label supply system, glue application system (for cold glue/hot melt), labeling station, conveying system, and PLC control system, suitable for labeling operations in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and daily chemical industries. 2. Working Principle
Containers are fed into the labeling station via the conveying system. When the sensor detects the container in position, the labeling action is triggered. The label supply system (peeler plate, suction gripper, or pick-up pad) removes a single label from the label roll. For self-adhesive labels, the peeler plate separates the label from the backing paper and directly applies it to the container surface. For cold glue labels, the pick-up pad first acquires glue from the glue roller, then picks up the label from the label magazine and transfers it to the container. For hot melt labels, the glue nozzle sprays hot melt adhesive onto the back of the label before application. After labeling, a smoothing brush and press roller firm the label down, ensuring a bubble- and wrinkle-free finish. The PLC control system monitors label position, container spacing, and labeling quality in real time, automatically stopping and alarming when abnormalities occur.
