1. Product Overview
The V-type mixer (V-blender) is a batch mixer in which an asymmetrical V-shaped shell keeps the material alternately splitting, flowing and diffusing as it rotates. It consists of a V-shaped shell, drive system, frame and control cabinet. It is widely used for blending dry powders and granules in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food and metallurgical industries. Key features: dead-corner-free design, complete discharge, high mixing uniformity, and no damage to the original shape of the material.
2. Working Principle
Once the material is loaded into the asymmetrical V-shaped shell, the shell rotates slowly under motor drive. Because the two arms of the V differ in length, the material repeatedly divides and merges between the two ends under gravity and centrifugal force, producing convection and diffusion that result in a uniform blend.

By Functional Structure:
Standard V-type Mixer: no internal agitator, mixing by shell rotation only / free-flowing dry powders and granules
V-type Mixer with Agitator: a high-speed agitator paddle inside breaks up agglomerates / powders prone to lumping or with poor flowability
Vacuum V-type Mixer: the shell can be evacuated and combined with jacket heating / oxygen-sensitive materials and vacuum drying-mixing duty
