1. Product Overview
The horizontal peeler centrifuge is a batch-operated filtering centrifuge that performs solid-liquid separation under the centrifugal force of a high-speed rotating bowl and discharges the cake with a scraper (peeler). The machine comprises a base frame, rotating bowl, filter screen, peeler mechanism, hydraulic system and control cabinet. It is widely used for suspension separation in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Key characteristics: fully automatic operation, high separation factor, effective dewatering, minimal crystal breakage and broad adaptability.
2. Working Principle
The suspension enters the high-speed rotating bowl through the feed pipe. Under centrifugal force, the filtrate passes through the screen and the perforated bowl wall, while the solids are retained on the screen surface to form a filter cake. After washing and final spinning, the peeler descends and cuts under hydraulic actuation, scraping the cake off into the discharge hopper.

Wide peeler centrifuge: a wide blade that cuts the whole cake layer in one pass — conventional chemical products and pharmaceutical crystals
Narrow peeler centrifuge: a narrow blade that advances helically through the cake — hard, compacted filter cakes
Siphon peeler centrifuge: a siphon chamber outside the bowl increases the filtration driving force — high-viscosity, hard-to-filter feeds
