1. Product Overview
The flat-bed bottom discharge centrifuge is a vertical batch-operating centrifuge that automatically unloads material from the bottom of the drum via a scraper. It uses a flat-bed base, offering a low center of gravity and smooth operation. It consists of a flat base, drum, scraper mechanism, hydraulic system, and drive device. Widely used for: large-volume solid-liquid separation in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food. Features: fully automatic operation, no worker contact with material, fast unloading via bottom opening, GMP compliant.
2. Working Principle
The suspension is fed into the high-speed rotating drum; under centrifugal force, the filtrate passes through the screen and is discharged, while the solid phase forms a filter cake; after washing and spinning, the drum slows down, and the scraper rotates under hydraulic drive, scraping the filter cake from the bottom of the drum and automatically discharging it through the outlet.
