Concentration Pot
Evaporation

1. Product Overview
The vacuum concentration pot (also known as a vacuum concentrator) concentrates liquid feed under reduced pressure at low temperature. The unit consists of a concentration tank body, condenser, vapor-liquid separator and receiver, and is widely used in the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries for concentration, distillation and organic solvent recovery.
2. Working Principle
Feed liquid is charged into the concentration tank, where vacuum lowers the boiling point. Steam or thermal oil circulates through the jacket to heat the liquid. The evaporated solvent is condensed in the condenser and collected in the receiver, while non-condensable gases are drawn off by the vacuum pump. Once the target specific gravity is reached, the concentrate is discharged from the bottom.
