1. Product Overview
The spin flash dryer is a continuous, high-efficiency drying system designed for filter cakes, pastes and high-viscosity materials. It consists of a heater, feed unit, main drying tower, agitator and crushing system, cyclone separator, bag filter and fan. Typical applications: dyes, pigments, pharmaceutical intermediates, catalysts and mineral concentrates. Key features: drying completed in seconds, effective prevention of wall fouling, uniform product particle size, and crushing and drying combined in a single unit.
2. Working Principle
Hot air enters the bottom of the drying tower tangentially, creating a high-speed rotating upward airflow. Wet material is fed into the tower by a screw feeder, where it is instantly broken up by the high-speed agitator (toothed rotor) at the base and intensively mixed with the hot air. Fine particles are entrained upward and dry within seconds; after classification they pass into the collection system, while oversized or insufficiently dried lumps are thrown back to the bottom by centrifugal force for further disintegration and drying.

Flash Dryer without Classification Ring: No classification device at the tower top, simple structure / Basic powders with no strict particle size requirements

Reinforced Flash Dryer: Additional crushing blades at the tower base for stronger disintegration / Highly viscous, agglomeration-prone pasty materials
