1. Product Overview
A Desiccant Air Dryer works on the twin-tower alternating adsorption/regeneration principle: a desiccant (activated alumina or molecular sieve) adsorbs moisture from the compressed air, lowering the pressure dew point to -40°C or -70°C to meet the most demanding industrial drying requirements. While one tower adsorbs moisture, the desiccant in the other tower is regenerated by heat or without heat, and the two towers switch over automatically on a timer to deliver a continuous air supply. A Desiccant Air Dryer is essential equipment for obtaining ultra-dry compressed air in the pharmaceutical, electronics and coating industries.
